Dear Parents,

We reached our class goal of money that we need to go on our Zion field trip. Thank you for your donations.

This week will be a regular week. Next week, we have a field trip to Zion and a field trip to Washington City Community Center. Then we test Language Arts on Wednesday and Thursday in the morning.

Homework This Week:

Language Arts - packet - please sign it each day on the back
Spelling - if your child is not getting 100%, please practice every night at home with the list
Math - see left sidebar (The test on Tuesday is on perimeter and area. Chapter 14 will be about geometry. The kids will learn about angles, lines, line segments, rays, and end points. You can go to www.adaptedmind.com to study geometry). Please go over the homework with your child after he/she completes it before you send it back on Friday.

Sage Testing - Thanks to those who are signing the weekly sheets to help your child prepare for testing. Your child is earning tickets to reward their diligence.

Dear Parents,

I had a wonderful Easter weekend. I hope you did, too. Our class party was fun. Ask your children about hopping like a bunny.

We are in need of a few more dollars for our Zion field trip. If any of you did not donate and can, please send money before May 5th.

Character Education - Our school  counselor comes in once a month to teach our children about good character. Your child has learned about confidence, connection, competence, character, and contribution. I am so glad to have Mrs. J at our school.

Testing - we have two more regular weeks at school before our end of level testing for Math, Language Arts, and Science. Thanks for getting your kids to school every day so I can help them prepare.

Walk-a-Thon - Thanks for supporting the students and the PTA

Thanks for coming to see our program. The kids did so well. I am proud of them.

This Thursday, we will have an Easter party from 12:20-1:20. If anyone can send wrapped candy to hunt for, I would appreciate it. We will make Easter baskets at school.

Walk-A-Thon - We had parents and friends pledge $4000. Thank you very much. Now, your children need to collect the money and bring it to school by this Thursday, April 17th.

Dear Parents,

Our track meet went well on Friday. The kids were good sports and cheered each other on.

The 4th grade program is this week. We will perform for the school on Wednesday, April 9th at 2:15. Then we will perform on Friday, April 11th at 10:00 for the parents. If you still need a bandana, please send $1 tomorrow. Remember, the kids need to wear jeans, white shirts, and a neck bandana.
