Thanks to everyone for making Valentine's Day fun and yummy. I hope you got your Valentine from your child at home, too.

The 3 day weekend was great for my kids and me. I hope that you were able to do something fun and remember our great presidents of our country.

Homework This Week:
Language Arts Packet - yes (please sign it each day on the back)
Math - (see left side bar for assignments) Chapter 9 test is on Wednesday (adding and subtracting like fractions, finding simplest form). Chapter 10 starts on Thursday with fractions and decimals.
     **Parents, please go over the homework with your child after he/she completes it before you send it back on Friday
Science - Fossils are being studied and replicated
Writing - The students are on page 3 of writing their own book. You will get a free one and an opportunity to purchase more for family.

SEP Conferences - Thanks to those parents who sent their preferred times to school. I have filled in times for the rest of you. Please e-mail or send a note if you are not able to make the time. I look forward to meeting with each of you next week.

I have planned the Valentine party. If there are parents who would like to help, come at 12:15-1:15 this Friday.

If your child would like to give valentines, there are 24 students in our class. Please plan to give a valentine to every student. I don't want anyone left out.

Look at the names of the kids on the pink letter that was sent hone.. If you can, please make a valentine box with your child at home. Send it to school on Friday.

If you don't have the proper supplies, I can get a box for your child to decorate. Let me know today or tomorrow.
