Dear Parents,

It's February already. It is time to think of Valentine's Day. If you would like to help with our class party, please let me know with a phone call, e-mail, or note. There are 24 students in our class. Look at the names of the kids below. If you can, please make a Valentine box with your child at home. If you don't have the proper supplies, I can get a box for your child to decorate. Let me know.

Language Arts - no packet this week

Math - see side bar for homework (our new chapter is about adding and subtracting fractions. Your child will continue to learn how to find common denominators. Please go over the homework with your child after he/she completes it before you send it back on Friday,

Science - Your child took the rock test on Friday. Scores will be coming home soon.  Our new unit is about fossils

Writing - This week the students are practicing writing for our Treasures benchmark test for report cards.
