Wow!  I am so lucky to teach such well-behaved children!  Thanks for all you do to help your children be respectful at home so they respect others at school.  I have been so pleased with our last couple of math test scores, too.  Keep helping your children with their homework.  It is paying off.
This Friday, send your children to school in their costumes.  They will parade around the track at 9:30.  You may come and watch, then stay for our classroom party.
Remember to check power school for your child's grades at any time.

I had a lot of fun at Disneyland and California Adventure over fall break.  I hope you did something fun with your family, too.  The kids came back, ready to work.  Thank you.  This week is principal appreciation week, so if you can, let Mrs. Eggleston know how much you like her.
I sent home the yellow paper we filled out for SEP conferences in August.  Please place it on your refrigerator or on your child's  bedroom door as a reminder of what we agreed to help your child with.  We will review it at November SEP conferences.
We will have a Halloween party on Halloween.  It will take place immediately after the school costume parade (information was in an orange note today).  I have parents who are willing to host this.  Thank you.  If you would like to come, please do.

Our Staheli Farm field trip was great!  The kids behaved well and had a fun time.
This is going to be a short week.  I had to stay home with my daughter who was sick.  Mrs. Prather was the substitute.  I hope to be back tomorrow.
This week there will be no Language Arts homework.  Keep working on times tables at home.

Happy October!
I love the season of Fall.  It's nice to cool down a little bit.
I am so pleased in the amount of homework each child is bringing back on Fridays.  Thanks for your support at home.  Thanks for creating responsible students who know their work matters.
